Master “Piece”

Hi there, Carole here as your host today!  It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to share with you all how much fun I’ve had as one of your design team members.  Lately, I’ve been trying to work within each specific line, although truth be told all the lines are easily mixed and matched.  Today I have a layout featuring the Familia collection. I used the Puzzle patterned paper, the white chipboard puzzle pieces, Familia fun tape, Kiki-Art trim and extra large buttons.

I also used some Tim Holtz masking shapes of gears and wheels in the background to represent the cogs that were turning in my little one’s head as she created her master “piece”.

On this larger photo showing the expanse of my scrap supplies stretched out across the dining room table (one of my favorite places to work) you’ll see my daughter at the end of the table being my little mini me and creating right along side of me.  It’s so great seeing what she comes up with.  I took this photo and overlayed it on the puzzle piece shaped chipboard pieces and put together my little “puzzle” with some of the pieces pop doted for dimension.

It’s hard to pick my favorite from all of the different Kiki-Art collections, but I just love the bright colors in this Familia line.  So what is your favorite collection and what are you playing with right now?  Curious minds want to know!
